We really believe in the power of superfoods and the glorious benefits they hold. We enjoy and consume them to heal, protect and replenish our bodies with the nutrition it needs. Everyday we are exposed to stress, toxins and free radicals, so it is our duty to nurture ourselves so we can thrive. We thought it was time we talked to you about how much we love BEE POLLEN!

These little golden nuggets of goodness are made by one of the worlds most incredible creatures, honey bee’s! It is gathered when our little fuzzy friends collect nectar from flowers. They fly from flower to flower, collecting pollen on their bodies and mixing it with a bit of nectar, which they then store in ‘honey sacks’ on their legs. They then return to their hives where they digest the pollen. This produces honey which the bee’s live off and feed to their babies.

Bee pollen is considered one of natures most nourishing and nutrient dense foods, as it contains all the necessary nutrients your body needs to sustain life! This is because it is a miraculous combination of easily digestible protein, amino acids, essential fatty acids, vitamins, minerals and digestive enzymes. Bee pollen has to be one of the most potent superfoods in the world, we like to call it natures multivitamin!

Bee pollen has a deliciously sweet and floral taste, which can be enjoyed by the spoon, sprinkled over yoghurt, porridge, granola and whizzed into smoothies. We like to take 1tsp of Bonpom bee pollen each day in the morning, to revitalise and energise us for a busy day in store!
